In response to Dick Gregory's interview insulting Spike Lee for Boycotting Django Unchained:

 

 

 

Some elders can disappoint, and as understandable as it is that an elder appreciate the social advancements within each generation, I find Dick Gregory's response to the film very immature and uneducated. I inquire to the updated and esoteric Conscious Black individuals; Instead of watching Dick Gregory attack his own brother, Spike Lee, and glorify a privileged Hollywood director, Quentin Tarantino, over a movie that serves the same purpose that crack served in the Black communities; getting blacks addicted to a feel good moment so they never actually reclaim their rights with revolution, why not start watching films like Besouro, Kilombo, Sankofa, that Did show slavery for its true colors and meditate on your African Roots???

 

In response to Katt Williams video dissing Jamie Fox and Quentin Tarantino:

 

 

 

I commend and applaud Katt Williams for this gesture alone that speaks sense to his audience and his ethnicity. I respect his stance on the issue of the film and I have also boycotted the film myself as of now, aware eye cannot criticize it with authority until eye actually view its content. Still I feel as though its counter productive internal oppression when so many Blacks are getting on Spike Lee and Katt Williams case but refuse to see how they themselves, as consumers of this propaganda film, are worshiping a White man, Tarantino, who is profiting off his depiction of Black African struggles that are essentially intangible to him. People conveniently forget and excuse the intense racism Tarantino demonstrated in his earlier films like Pulp Fiction. People conveniently forget all the books they've read about the Illuminati, that told you drugs and FBI infiltration destroyed our civil rights efforts, that explain how Blacks have been STUDIED and EXPERIMENTED ON by racists for over 500-5000 years, and instead of applying this knowledge they go see Django Unchained several times like an addict, because they conveniently forget that Hollywood will never allow a Black person to make a Revolutionary Film for themselves with African perspectives in it. And Jamie Foxx was likely salty at the awards show when the White men won awards for the movie, not him, further insinuating he is their working class Nigger, in addition to the 110 times he and the audience was reminded in the film. People conveniently forget Denzel Washington had to play a criminal opposite a White savior, and Halle Berry had to be screwed by a White racist protagonist on the big screen before THEY could win awards. 

As a witch and Black High Priestess, eye recognize how essential an understanding of occult science in media for One to effectively participate as a Black Activists or Pan-African Revolutionary. In my observation Some PSEUDO-Conscious Black NON-activists need to really THINK and watch more films like Sankofa. Maybe the ancestors will knock You back into the REAL slave days to remind You of who YOU really are and who your Enemy really is.
